All undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to submit proposals relevant to any area of psychology, provided they (1) are student members of VAPS (free) and (2) have a faculty sponsor for their proposal who is a current VAPS member ($50 membership fee). Proposals will be accepted or rejected based on the quality of the proposal — including clarity, relevance, and completeness. Proposals must clearly indicate that study results (data) will be available by the presentation date. Student presentations will take place at the spring conference on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Hotel 24 in Staunton, VA.
The submission deadline is February 13th. Notification of acceptance should be e-mailed by the end of February.
NOTE: If your proposal is accepted, you will need to register for the conference. The cost will be $30 for VAPS student members and $75 for VAPS faculty members.
